Does it have to bee this hard? I have been trying out different free solutions. I’ve installed several scripts myself and I have also signed up for already hosted online shops, but none of them seems to work like they should. Perhaps I’m just having bad luck today?
I’m not really asking for advanced features either. I would like to have a simple PayPal payment processor, be able to upload more than 25 items, simple interface and receive simple email orders. Nothing advanced at all. Apparently I haven’t found the right one just yet.
Have you ever tried to start your own web shop? What solution did you choose? And how did it go?
Ever heard of Shimon Sandler? Shimon is a SEO Consultant and a so called Gourmet SEO since he does not only write about SEO and internet marketing strategies, he is also very fond of food and he shares his recipes on his blog.
So what does really a SEO Consultant do? First off they have to be able to create a strategy and then execute a reputation management campaign. A SEO Consultant will basically help you rank higher in search engines which makes you get more clients and visitors. Regular advertising and marketing is one thing, but combined with SEO marketing tactics, it will bring the ultimate exposure for a company!

Shimon Sandler started out by working for two very successful agencies, called Did-it.com and DigitalGrit, before he decided to go his own way as an SEO Consultant where he teaches companies what they need to know about search engine optimizing and how to achieve it.
He has been working with big clients like various Loreal brands, Kohls Dept Stores, US Army, Wendys Restaurants and Intel Corporation.
When looking at the content of his blog, I am amazed that he has covered basically everything there is to know about this type of marketing, both the good and the bad sides of it. You can easily find your way around with the links on the left which means you don’t have to search around to find something interesting, searching for the good stuff is what I hate the most.
When you’re at his blog, don’t forget to check out the “Tools” page where he has listed many good tools that are valuable if you want to improve your SEO. And if you are new to this area of marketing, check out the “Glossary” as well.
To sum it up fast, you should be following Shimon Sandler and go through his site. It has a lot of great information!

For some strange reason I have landed on several emo blogs lately. I can’t figure out why. Emo blogs aren’t the best blogs to read if you easily get depressed. And gosh, these people really takes it to the extreme. I believe I was a bit emo in my young days as well but this is way worse.
For god’s sake, cheer up emo kids!

So today it’s Friday and it’s time to chill out a bit. I hope you have written your posts, stumbled and voted enough to let things go for the weekend. We need a life to blog about!
Have a great weekend bloggers!
Today Kevin Purdy at Lifehacker wrote a really nice post with 10 tools to get blogging done. There are some really great tools in that list that I never thought of before, like the Copy Link Text Firefox extension and the AutoCopy Firefox extension for example. Small extensions that can speed up the work. Sure it is only about a few seconds but if you are doing a lot of blogging it can be really useful.
I only use two tools for my blogging and that is Scribefire for Firefox and Photobucket. Scribefire helps me blogging on several different blogs from one window. I don’t have to log in to every one of them, which I found very annoying after a while. It’s also a big plus that I can search through Flickr images in it!
I’ve been testing Windows Live Writer as well but it didn’t work as the way I wanted it to, and I had several errors with it. But Scribefire really does the job, and I’m thankful for that!
Since Photobucket added their advanced image editor to their services I have used it to cut down and edit the images to my liking. No software needed which is nice. It goes fast to get it done. It’s only when I’m going to edit an image in a more advanced way that I use Photoshop.
What tools do you use when you get your blogging done?
