Cut a bargain on Ebay?

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008 | Online Related with No Comments »

Lately the hype has been up and buzzing around on how to take advantage of another persons mistakes. In spelling that is.
When searching for your latest must-have on Ebay try spelling it wrong. The chance is that you’ll find what you’re looking for and for less money.
Looking for an iPhone? Try looking for an “Iphoen” or maybe a new cell? A Noika sounds like a cheap knock-off but might just be the right thing miss-spelled.

Auction-sites are usually not governed by the spelling-police. People who write their own advertisements might need to get a look-over by an expert but until then, you’re free to roam almost alone looking for that special bargain.

All the “professional” shops correct their spelling and it is on auction-sites you might get your finds for less. But as usual, take a look at the sellers information if they seem serious and that the item up for sale is authentic. If you have questions about the item don’t be afraid to send the seller an e-mail and check. A genuine seller wouldn’t be afraid to answer your questions and would be happy to seal a deal. Always ask if you’re not sure, you don’t want to buy a real “Iphoen” now would you?

Take a look around and spell your worst!

The joys of online shopping

What to do when the weather is bad or you don’t want to stand in line for hours?
The easy answer is, shop on the internet!
A great way to both spend money and in some cases save some too.

If you want a bit of a thrill and like to look for that special thing to buy, internet auctions are the way to go.

Ebay is just the thing, browse through the auctions and find just that special something that you didn’t knew you needed but just have to have! It may be a bit nerve-wrecking when battling another buyer that last minute of the auction but the satisfaction of a win will give you a shopping high.

Another favorite of mine on the subject is http://www.etsy.com. Loads of handmade goods from all over the world. There are mostly American sellers but they have a search you can use for local vendors. Use the site for inspiration or buy presents for people you like including yourself. Maybe it will get you crafting and can sell something yourself?

And I’m closing with a classic, http://www.amazon.com/. It may feel like they have been around since the beginning of the internet but they have a good selection and I use it when looking for a good book.

Internet is also a great way to compare prices easily and make the best deal on your shopping spree. Have fun when shopping and landing the good deals. Or maybe just window-shop until the weather is nice again.

Scheduled Post Publishing on Blogger

Today Blogger announced a new feature to all their bloggers, it’s called schedules post publishing. Which means that you can write posts and schedule them in the feature, so you can leave for vacation and no one will notice! It’s also good if you are feeling extra creative one day, then you don’t have to publish them all at once.

A great future! Finally!
