It’s been mentioned that I might have too many lvl80s. Truth is I only have three; two shamans and a paladin. But I try to raid with all three of them. For the most part I go in as restoration shaman. Which I don’t mind. Less worrying about movement for certain things, more worrying about people’s healthbars.

The guild where my main shaman is located is a casual guild. “Family friendly” they called it. Which means that they don’t really take raiding all that seriously and are really more interested in farming content in order to get fancy gear and brag about it, rather then progress and see more of the content itself. Imagine my frustration seeing Lord Marrowgar or Deathbringer Saurfang for the 20th time because some warrior dps wants the two-handed axe and won’t agree to extending the raidlock to see if they can somehow muster the ability to move away from orange bottles and actually down Professor Putricide. But no, he wants his two-handed axe.

So I was happy when Magdeline told me her guild were progressing through Icecrown Citadel quite nicely and would really like an enhancement shaman.

I offered Magdeline to make a faction and server transfer to my second shaman. It wasn’t that greatly geared, but I was at absolute minimum gear requirement for starting in Icecrown Citadel and could easily farm the last couple of pieces to make sure I wouldn’t shame myself.

I normally hate playing Horde, and I had plans to switch to troll or orc because of the racials they have available. I just.. couldn’t. Troll and orc is just so goddamn ugly. So I changed her to Tauren instead.

Eh.. I miss my draenei. But it’ll do.

Because I was fast in transferring over and gearing up to at least the minimum I was a ble to attend a Lich King fight yesterday. We managed to push it into phase 3. I’m hoping to be able to attend another attempt tonight, but I just HAD to put Icrecrown Citadel 25-man up on the calendar for the other guild. Dammit.
